The HBO Original drama series Dune: Prophecy, co-produced with Legendary Television, has been renewed for a second season. This announcement comes ahead of its season one finale, debuting on Sunday, December 22 at 9:00 p.m. ET/PT. Both studios have shared their comments regarding the TV show’s continuation:

"Antitrust Division Continues to Focus on Interlocking Directorates that Violate Section 8 of the Clayton Act
The Justice Department announced today that two directors of Epic Games Inc. (Epic), who had been appointed by Tencent Holdings Ltd. (Tencent), resigned from the Epic board after the Antitrust Division expressed concerns that their positions on both the Epic and Tencent boards violated Section 8 of the Clayton Act. Tencent owns a minority interest in Epic. The interlock was created because Tencent also is the parent company of a gaming competitor to Epic, Riot Games Inc. Tencent also decided to amend its shareholder agreement with Epic to relinquish its unilateral right to appoint directors or observers to the Epic board in the future. This is the latest of the division’s ongoing Section 8 enforcement efforts, which to date have unwound or prevented interlocks involving at least two dozen companies."

But yeah, Xbox Series S is a challenge."."Unreal does a lot of the work for us in some ways. What we're more doing is optimisation of assets, and using various technologies, be it FSR or something else, to replicate frames. We want the game to look stunning on high-end, whether you have a 3070 or a 4090, but we also want it to look good... I don't think we've released our min-spec yet, but y'know powerful cards from a few years ago should be able to run the game. It should look good – it won't be able to leverage the ultra-spec options, but it'll still look nice."

Casey Bloys, Chairman and CEO, HBO and Max Content, has stated Dune Prophecy season Two is in development at the Playlist;-
"Speaking at a recent conference call about what HBO has planned for the upcoming year, executive Casey Bloys talked about “Dune: Prophecy” and what its future might look like. According to Bloys, he’s already tasked show-runner Allison Schapker with breaking down what a possible Season 2 might look like.
“Allison is in the room with writers now breaking a possible Season 2, and we do have the books,” said Bloys. “It is based on the books.”
As for how many seasons Bloys feels like “Dune: Prophecy” could run for, considering he’s already talking about Season 2, the HBO boss explained that it really comes down to what feels like the right number according to the show-runner."

HBO Series Set 10,000 Years before Paul Atreides , dealing with the Creation of the Bene Gesserit. Two Sisters, Valya and Tula Harkonnen create the all female order , in the series the sisters take on threats to the Human Race. The Series is set in the same Universe as Villeneuve's movies according to Jordan Goldberg ,executive Producer .
This series, possibly inspired by the novel Sisterhood of Dune, by Brian Herbert and Kevin J. Anderson. Is a prequel to the original Dune and is the first of the Great Schools of Dune trilogy, and tells how the Sisterhood of Rossak evolved into the Bene Gesserit.
