The Old Empire (0 – 1,287 B.G.)

0 – 1287 BG                       Details pertaining to the Old empire are rare. though it is speculated that it originated from existing human civilisation                                                         on Earth. FTL was developed and then spice discovered and with it instantaneous travel between the stars.

11,200 B.G.                       (1961 AD), the beginning of space travel."Mankind's movement through deep space placed a unique stamp on religion                                                              during the one hundred and ten centuries that preceded the Butlerian Jihad."[23]p.574 This Jihad was in 200 B.G, so                                                                  adding 110 centuries comes to 11,000+200 = 11,200. (2024 = 11200-64 =11136) dune is set in 10,191 so were 21,327 years away                                                      from the start of the Book.(1961 AD as this was the year Yuri Gagarin orbited earth )

c. 2,104 B.G                      First meeting of the Landsraad, "the Landsraad, which continued its 2,000-year record of meeting in spite of the severest                                                    obstacles" [23]p.574 this date is speculative, as its based on the commentary that is describing what happened after the                                                            Butlerian Jihad and 3 years into the creation of the O.C.B.

c. 1480 B.G                       The third Islamic Movement begins under the prophet Maometh , the third Muhammad.

1,450 B.G.                         Scientists arrive on Arrakis, Objective Colonisation, botanical testing stations established.

1,400 B.G.                         Spice discovered on Arrakis.

c. 1,381 B.G                       "Zensunni followers of a schismatic sect that broke away from the teachings of Maometh (...)  about 1381 B.G." [23]p.605

Time of Titan's (1,287-1,182 B.G.)

1287 BG                             Tlaloc a geneticly altered human and 20 people known as Titans, overthrow the old empire and start a new age.

1280 BG                            Tlaloc dies.

1235 BG                             Rodale IX is renamed Ix.  

Rule of Ominius (1,182 – 201 B.G.)

1182 BG                             The Birth of Omnius, an AI machine conquered multiple planets and enslaved the Titans.

215 BG                               "Hunting Harkonnen's"[100]

202 B.G.                           Spice discovered by Tlulaxa Business man called Tuk Keedair.

Butlerian Jihad     (201 B.G to 108 B.G)

201 BG                             The Start of the Butlerian Jihad, the war that ended the dominance of the machine and replaced it with the Tenet of "                                                                Man may not be replaced "

c.107 B.G.                       "The Commission of Ecumenical Translators."[23]p.575 we know this happened after the Butlerian Jihad, before the guild                                                      had a complete monopoly on interplanetary space travel, and the Gesserit were in the process of banding the Sorceresses, We                                              don't know the exact date.

c.100B.G                         "On that seventh anniversary, they unveiled the Orange Catholic Bible." [23]p.575 again the date is speculative.

88 BG                               Battle of Corrin. The death of the Machine AI , known as Ominus. Space battle that the imperial House Corrino took its                                                          name, Fought near Sigma Dracnis, settled the ascendancy of the ruling House from Salusa Secundus.

                                           Abulurd Harkonnen is declared a Coward and exiled at the suggestion of  Volian Atreides , this is the spark that started the                                                    animosity between house Atreides and Harkonnen."But the poison in him, deep in his mind, is the knowledge that an                                                            Atreides had a Harkonnen banished for cowardice after, the Battle of Corrin."[23]p.81

86 B.G.                            Foundation of House Atreides, Demetrios Atreides is made Baron Tantalos in reward for aiding the Corrino’s.

(arista?)(lady Jessica is trained as truth-sayer) (sees Yueh's betrail and thus Atreides                                                                                                           are ready for the Harkonnen attack and thus were not wiped out in 10191 A.G.)

                                          Birth of Princess Irulan Corrino . "My father was 71 at the time (...) I was but 14, "[23]P.128 
                                          Death of Anirul Corrino, wife of Shaddam IV  this is reported in the  'Almanak en-Ashraf' , as she had 4 more daughters after                                               this , this can not be an Accurate date. She is reported as having trained Irulan in the weirding and Prana-bindu methods,                                                     its also reported that she died after having Irulan. Unfortunately i do not have any information on the ages of the daughters,                                               though the middle one gave birth to Farad'n in 10,200A.G.(this is feasible if we take Irulan’s birth as 10,176), if we assume she                                               trained to the same degree as Paul was it would have taken 15 years, using this ill be placing her death at c. 10, 191 A.G. this still                                           leaves a few loose ends which hopefully i can resolve at some point.
